Be sure to take a moment to take in the collection of contemporary art through- out the lobby of the hotel. Don’t miss the Quarter Lounge, the latest creation by American artist Johnny Swing made of 5000 Quarters, which required 27,000 welds. Before taking its place at Delamar Traverse City, the Quarter Lounge was seated at the Museum of Art and Design in New York.
Dining — Artisan Waterfront Restaurant & Tavern, our award-winning restaurant, offers a unique and innovative dining experience with magnificent views of Lake Michigan. Our Great Lakes-inspired, New American cuisine has an emphasis on farm fresh fare from local and regional farms, celebrating the theme of sustainability and agriculture in an artful setting.
Meet at the Delamar — Should you need to plan an impromptu meeting during your stay, please contact our dedicated events team. Our private rooms can accommodate from 2 to 200 guests. If you are looking for a more casual, unconventional atmosphere ask us about our Dayclub, adjacent to the patio and overlooking the stunning Grand Traverse Bay.

POOLS/SAUNA – We’re pleased to offer two pools for the use of our guests. Our outdoor pool is open year-round and heated to a warm 93 degrees in the winter. Families can enjoy a swim surrounded by either snowy or sunny skies, no matter the temperature. We also schedule several poolside live music events in the summertime. The outdoor pool is adults-only after 5pm. Just past the outdoor pool, we also have a sprawling indoor pool, hot tub and sauna, open from 8 am to 11 pm.
WATERSPORTS- Among the many features of Delamar Traverse City is our breathtaking waterfront location. We offer several private charters, sunset cruises,
kid-friendly tours, and lake activity rentals.
Wind Dancer — Sailboat & Sunset Sail cruises are provided by www.winddancertc.com as well as our exclusive pontoon charter. The luxury Regency 6-passenger pontoon can be rented by day (in two-hour increments) or by evening (a 3-hour sunset charter). Any age is welcome aboard!
Nauticat Boat Tour & Catamaran Cruises — Nauticat has four different daytime cruises that are sure to be fun for everyone, whether you are 7 or 70. Kids can learn sailing in a safe and fun environment, while parents can lounge in the nets during our kids’ cruise.
Aussie Watersports — Whether you’re looking to rent a jet-ski, kayak, or paddleboard, Aussie Watersports has something for everyone. Space is limited, and many of these experiences sell out quickly. Please be sure to reserve as far in advance as possible.
eBike Land Tours — Enjoy scenic E-Bike rides. Hop on a super comfy e-assist bicycle as you ride the 17-mile Leelanau TART trail between Traverse City and Suttons Bay (34 miles round trip).
SPA & WELLNESS
Soon Delamar Traverse City will have its own spa on property, but for now, the Solitude Float and Wellness Spa, as well as Pavlova offer comforting spa services. Please inquire with our Concierge for spa services.
FITNESS
The 24-hour Fitness Center at Delamar is located on our ground level and is equipped with a Peloton bike and rowing machine. If you prefer to exercise in the great outdoors, our front desk can provide a map of nearby running & walking trails.
YOGA AT DELAMAR TRAVERSE CITY
We offer on-site yoga sessions twice weekly in our Leelanau Ballroom. The classes are led by our partner Yen Yoga studio and are open to hotel guests and the general public.
